Welcome to Kids Ministry

We’re so glad your family is joining us! Our Kids Ministry is designed to be a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled environment where children can learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate way.

Our ministry operates in line with Safe Church principles, prioritising the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of every child and young person.

Please read the information below so you know what to expect and how we can work together to keep all children safe and cared for.

Kids Church Begins: After worship

Registration & Information Form (Required)

All families must complete one Kids Ministry Information Form per family.
The form can be accessed via the QR code located at check-in.
This information helps us meet safety, medical, and pastoral care requirements.
Please ensure details are kept up to date.

Room Guide & Expectations

🟡 Room 1 – Pre-Primary to Grade 1

Parent-Supervised Room (Not a Church-Supervised Program)

This room is not supervised by Kids Ministry volunteers.
A parent or guardian aged 18+ must remain in the room at all times with their child.
Children must never be left unattended.
Parents and caregivers are responsible for:
- Ongoing supervision
- Behaviour management
- Toileting and personal care needs
Kids Ministry leaders and volunteers do not provide care, supervision, or discipline in this room.

🟢 Room 2 – Grades 2–5

Volunteer-Run Program

This room hosts a structured Kids Church program led by approved and trained volunteers.
Volunteers operate in line with Safe Church guidelines.
Children must be signed in before the service begins.
Children are expected to:
- Listen to leaders
- Participate respectfully
- Follow instructions and safety rules
If a child’s behaviour becomes unsafe or significantly disruptive, parents or carers will be contacted.

🔵 Room 3 – Grades 6–12

Volunteer-Run Program (1st, 2nd & 3rd Sundays Only)

This program runs on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sunday of each month.
Sessions are led by approved and trained volunteers in line with Safe Church practices.
Students participate in age-appropriate teaching, discussion, and activities.
When Room 3 is not running, Grades 2–12 will be combined in Room 2.
Students are expected to be respectful, inclusive, and follow leader guidance.

Babies & Toddlers Area (Main Service)

Babies and toddlers remain in the Main Service.
A dedicated family area is available at the back of the church, next to the tables.
This area is not a supervised Kids Ministry program.
Parents and caregivers are responsible for supervision, care, and toileting at all times.

Safety & Behaviour Expectations (All Areas)

To help create a safe and positive environment:

Children and young people are expected to treat others with kindness and respect.
Unsafe behaviour will be addressed promptly, and parents or carers may be contacted.
Leaders and volunteers follow Safe Church procedures when responding to behaviour or safety concerns.
Please communicate any allergies, medical needs, or additional support requirements via the information form.
